Planting

The Dragonflies and Butterflies enjoyed planting out their bean plants that had started to grow over the last couple of weeks. Plenty of watering will be needed with all the sunshine that we have had this week!

We also said 'goodbye' to our butterflies. Our Painted Lady Butterflies flew off when we released them outside. It had been great fun watching them grow from tiny caterpillars.

For maths this week we learnt all about 3D shapes and the children enjoyed spotting lots of different shapes in our environment. They have developed their mathematical language by playing lots of 'guessing the shape' games with friends and building different structures.
