People Who Help Us

Our new topic this term has begun with an exciting start. We had the fire engine visit us from Lymington fire station arranged by Harrison s Dad who is a real life fire fighter! The lymington crew also came to see us, so thank you very much guys for a great afternoon! 

Our fire station and fire engine role play areas have developed lots of great language and co-operative play. 

On Thursday we had Mr Chalmers back to light a fire with us in the school garden and talked to us about how to keep safe. We also have watched some fire training videos to help us remember the dangers of over loaded plug sockets, lighters and matches and chip pans. So ask your children about the dangers and they will advise you on fire safety issues! We have produced some fantastic recount writing and fire safety posters.
