Happy New Year.

Here are some of the activities and topics we will be enjoying during the next term. As always your support will help the children’s development.

 

Literacy

Writing c-v-c words confidently and beginning to form sentences.

Writing more complex words with as many sounds as possible.

Continuing with Speed Sounds One (Green Sound Cards Box) and starting to work with Speed Sounds Two (Yellow Sounds Box).

Mathematics

Recognise, count and order sets of numbers up to 10 / 20 / 100.

Shopping and using money.

Naming and describing 2D and 3D shapes.

Measuring time, weight, and length.
