At the farm

The children are settling brilliantly and have completed their first full time week , well done! This week Butterflies and Dragonflies have been role playing farms and the learning has been around harvest. They have enjoyed making and tasting bread. We have been continuing with lots of counting activities and learning some harvest songs. Pencil grip is developing and the children are practising writing their names. Phonics is taught as a rainbow time activity and the sounds..s, a t, p have been introduced and are in the children's sounds books that they have bought home.
