Beegu

This week the children in Dragonflies and Butterflies based their learning around Beegu a character from a book written by Alexis Deacon. The Alien becomes lost on earth and finds the big earthlings unfriendly (which fitted nicely for anti-bullying week). The small ones however were friendly to Beegu so he remembers them fondly. The children wrote speech bubbles as to what Beegu was saying and wrote postcards from Beegu. In maths the children were focussing on the language of  'one more' and looked at adding one to a number.
