Making Playdough.

This week some of us got to help make Playdough. We had to use our strong muscles to mix the ingredients and squash the mixture together to make it turn into playdough.

We had a lot of fun making it and loved playing with it straight after we finished -  it was still warm!

Mr Butcher's recipe is really easy to follow, all we needed was 1 cup of salt, 1 cup of plain flour (not the ones that grow outside!), 1 small spoon of corn flour, a few drops of vegetable oil, and finally 1 cup of boiling water, a grown up has to help with that bit. If you add food colouring or peppermint to the mix you can make different colours and smells.

In Phonics this week we have learnt i, n, m, and d.
