Jack and the Beanstalk / Growth

The children certainly seem to have enjoyed themselves during half-term, and they have definitely enjoyed their first week back at school.

We have continued our work with Traditional Tales and are now working with Jack and the Beanstalk. Our role-play area is now the Giant's Castle and we have turned the kitchen area into Jack's cottage, all joined up with an ENORMOUS beanstalk.

 

Alongside Jack and the Beanstalk we are also learning about growth, including tadpoles, carrots, cress and potatoes. We will be watching to see what changes occur over the next few days / weeks.
