Jack and The Beanstalk

This week the children in Starlings and Sparrows enjoyed reading the story of Jack and The Beanstalk. They have been very busy writing their own books. They had to cut out the pictures from the story and sequence them. The children then wrote in sentences using the phonics they have learnt , the writing of the tricky words and even some punctuation! Great work reception!! We shared our Jack and The Beanstalk books with all the year 2 children on Friday afternoon during our reading time.
