The Three Little Pigs

This week the children in reception as part of their 'Once Upon A Time' topic have been focussing on the story of The Three Little Pigs.

They have enjoyed being busy in the role play areas , extending their language through retelling and acting out the story. During literacy the children have written speech bubbles with what the wolf said to the little pigs. The wolf ( a hairdryer in disguise!) has blown down their houses to their delight.
In Maths the children have been learning one more/ one less with lots of practical opportunities.
