Little Red Riding Hood

This week the children have loved listening to the story of Little Red Riding Hood. In literacy they have worked on character writing, using describing words and writing what the characters said. The puppet show has been in full use with the children making some lolly pop stick puppets of the main characters and acting the story out. It was a great treat to have Martin the puppet man in on Thursday to present us with the Gingerbread Man Story using his amazing puppets.

 

In Maths the children have been doubling amounts and halving nunbers. The wolf in the story has been kind and decided to share some of his food with Grandma so we have been halving amounts.
